A
WEE BHOYS DREAM
Well I dreamt I
scored the winning
goal, for the team I
supported since I
was a boy
I ran to the Jungle
with my hands in the
air like Bobby
Lennox or Yogi Bear
and the jungle
swelled and the
scarves flew high, I
was sure I could
hear my Daddy cry
the fans all chanted
out my name in the
floodlit park in the
Glasgow rain.
I was only dreaming,
dreaming, dreaming I
played for Celtic.
Dreaming, dreaming I
played for Celtic.
With the atmosphere
and the TV crews,
and my name been
mentioned on the
news
standing beside big
Jock Stein, I was a
hero in that famous
team
then my mamma called
from just outside,
my bedroom door that
snowy night
I woke to the sound
of my mamma's call,
and the pictures on
my bedroom wall.
I was only dreaming,
dreaming, dreaming I
played for Celtic.
I was only dreaming,
dreaming I played
for Celtic.
Well there isn't a
boy in this world
today, who doesn't
dream about his
heroes
like being able to
fly like superman or
being a pop star
with the screaming
fans.
Now many years on
from the good old
days, I look at
Celtic park and all
of the change
it's not the same as
it was for me, in
the cold winter
nights of the old
sixties
then I ask me son
does he ever dream
about playing for
his favourite team
he said Daddy I run
with my hands held
high, I'm Henrik
Larsson and I ask
him why
he said, I've just
scored a goal its
number 4 and the
good times are
knocking on our door
I can see the flags
of white and green
and Marin O'Neil
jumping like a bean
and the fans are
crying out my name;
please don't take my
Larsson away
I looked up to row
53, and I could see
you looking down on
me
I was sure you had a
tear in your eye,
and from heaven I
could hear my
grandad cry
I was only Dreaming,
dreaming, dreaming
of playing for
Celtic.
I was only dreaming,
dreaming I played
for Celtic.
Daddy I was only
dreaming......
BERTIE
AULD
Who needs the man
called Johan Cruyff
who needs the man Di
Stefano, we've got
one who tops them
all you know. Just a
boy from Maryhill at
that time life was
standing still his
daddy said “Hey
Bertie Boy let’s
go!”
Football boots in
his bag it was the
year of 55’ his
daddy takes him down
to Paradise.
Standing in the
stadium James
McGrory next to him,
his daddy has a tear
drop in his eye.
(chorus)
Everyone loves
Bertie our very own
Ten Thirty, the
pride and joy of
Celtic Park you
know. Everyone loves
Bertie, so come on
sing HAIL HAIL! To
Bertie Auld the
Lisbon maestro.
Bertie Bhoy he signs
that day but Celtic
let him get away and
then he heads on
down to Birmingham.
Then big Jock Stein
gets the call and
makes the greatest
team of all and
Bertie’s on his way
back home again.
chorus
{music break}
chorus
Way back in the days
of old you’d catch
him on the drink you
know, in Bairds Bar
with Jinks and
Willie O’. Bobby
Murdoch say’s “Oh
hell! Tommy
Gemmell’s on the
Bell ah guess we’re
not going home no
no!”
Remember when we
used to sing of
Bobby Lennox on the
wing and Jimmy
Johnstone rowing out
to sea. When every
Celtic fan today if
you ask they’ll
always say, Bertie
Auld is the man for
me.
chorus
chorus….
B.I.G.O.T.R.Y.
Donald Findlay QC is
an ugly man, and is
dumb as any dam kid
And when you mention
I.R.A. he dam near
flips his lid
Words like T.A.I.G.
taig, or C.E.L.T.
Celt
these are words that
make his funny wig
and sideburns melt.
(chorus)
Because his
B.I.G.O.T.R.Y.
became final today
Because he sang
about the T.I.Ms and
then he ran away
That's why I've
spelt some of these
words, so as the
Huns can't speak
And that is why we
are going to win the
L.E.A.G.U.E. League.
And then came Jock
Brown's brother
Craig, a loyalist
through and through
He sang song like
F.T.P. and now he's
trying to sue
He denies singing
any songs about the
Pope, the Provos or
the Papes
The silly little man
doesn't know that
his girlfriend got a
T.A.P.E. Tape.
(chorus)
And then came big
John Greig me boys,
plane for all to see
Mimicking a flute
with a big screw top
with some Huns from
Bramalea
That's why I've
spelt out some of
these words, so as
the Huns will never
naf
Words like
T.I.O.C.F.A.I.D.H.
Tiocfaidh Ar La.
(chorus)
BILLY McNEILL
We all know Billy
McNeill, he was the
Celtic club captain
known to all as
Caesar, and a
perfect gentleman
he signed in the
50s, with number 5
upon his back
his last game was a
Hampden, and the
Scottish cup came
back.
Chorus:
He's our greatest
club captain the
King motivator
a mentor, a manager,
a Celtic folk hero
with the first team
in Britain to be
champions of Europe
Still now, Billy
McNeill, he's the
man.
I know Billy
McNeill, saw him
just the other day
walking into to
Paradise in usual
chest out way
always polite to
everybody and they
never ask for more
to every Celtic
supporter, he's Mr
Celtic to the core.
Lets go back to
Lisbon, on that
sunny day in May
the year was 67' and
the cup was won that
day
as Billy stood up
high there with the
Cup held in his hand
the name of Glasgow
Celtic was heard
throughout the land.
Chorus
I know Billy
McNeill, saw him
only yesterday
we got talking about
the good old times
and how it used to
be
he told me of his 9
league flags and his
7 Scottish cups
and his famous
nights in Europe and
his love for his
dear club.
Chorus
BYE BYE RANGERS 2012

Ibrox is a shopping
mall, an Asda store
and a scrap yard

BYE BYE R*ngers!
You will have to
sell all your
defenders,
No more sash, king

You are the people
on the floor, it's

the door,
R*ngers BYE BYE, R*ngers
BYE BYE...
No more blue in my

BYE BYE R*ngers!
The Hoops will live
forever more, we are
Celtic to the core,
BYE BYE R*ngers!
Every game you sing
about your gracious

But you don't pay
her tax or duties
in-between,
You are the people
on the floor, it's

the door,
R*ngers BYE BYE, R*ngers
BYE BYE...
You listened to
Murray and Craig
Whyte, talking one

BYE BYE R*ngers!
For every fiver
Celtic spend, we
will spend a tenner
then,
BYE BYE R*ngers!
You can wipe your
nine in a row off
the slate,
Cause you cheated
Scottish football
and the state,
You are the people
on the floor, it's

the door,
R*ngers BYE BYE, R*ngers

One more time...

mall, an Asda store
and a scrap yard
now,

EIRE GIRL
Way on the other
side of the Liffy,
deep in the bustle
of Ireland
I met a young girl;
she looked mighty
fine, long red hair
and green Irish eyes
Standing on a corner
near the famous GPO
She asked is there
some place we could
go
She was collecting
her thoughts as I
stood by
She was looking for
change and so was I
(chorus) Eire Girl
She was an Irish
girl, I fell in love
with her she wrote
her number on the
back of my hand
I called her up I
was all out of
breath I said, come
hear me play in my
wee Celtic band
I took a shower and
I put on my best
blue jeans, I picked
her up in my new VW
van
She wore a Celtic
top with nothing
underneath, I said
Hi she yes I guess I
am
chorus
We had a little
time, my mouth was
mega dry, and we had
a few drinks in a
pub on the main
street
I had a few Pints,
she had a few wines,
we got a little
closer and she told
me she liked me
I had a gig in the
old Hibernian hall,
It was a dance for a
charity I recall
She was singing
along to all the
songs
She just smiled and
I knew I can't go
wrong
chorus
Saw her the next day
but I had to go away
told her I'd see her
if I ever came back
here
I'm heading out of
town going up to
County Down, playing
in Downpatrick for
the boys in the GA
Dropped in to
Belfast on the way
to the boat
Had to stop for a
pint for the sake of
my throat
I got talking to
another Irish girl
She was her best
friend and she said
oh what the hell
FIRST TIME
My story goes way
back to the 60s
When I first went
across the Irish Sea
I was on a summer
break with my family
It was all so very
new and strange to
me.
As we settled in our
digs way down in
Dublin
Taking in the
streets and the
cobble stones
Thinking about the
songs that the Irish
people sing
Like Molly Malone,
Sean Sabhat from
Garryowen.
I remember a man and
my dad talking
He was asking him
were his accent was
from
Then I heard him say
something that I
would hear again
And now I've heard
it said so many
times you know.
(Chorus)
He said is this the
first time you've
been to Ireland
I think I've seen
your face before my
friend you know
He said is this the
first time you've
been to Ireland
Well I hope we meet
again before you go.
Well it took me a
few years to go back
there
Now I think I've
been a hundred time
or more
From Galway to
Kilkenny and all
around the coast
Everywhere I go I
hear these words you
know.
chorus
Now I'm sitting on a
bar stool here in
Glasgow
Sipping a jar and
thinking about going
home
Then I met a man
from Ireland, he's
over for the game
We got talking about
the famous Celtic
show
He said to me have
you ever been to
Ireland
Have you ever been
across the Irish sea
He said to me have
you ever been to
Ireland
Have you ever seen
the 40 shades of
green
I said is this the
first time you've
been to Glasgow
I think I've seen
your face before my
friend you know
I said is this the
first time you've
been to Glasgow
Well I hope we meet
again before you go.
FOUR LEAF CLOVER 2
When I was just a
little boy
One Christmas morn I
leapt with joy
I saw what Santa
brought for me
A Celtic jersey
under the tree.
(chorus)
With a Four Leaf
Clover on my breast
And the Green and
White across my
chest
It's such a joy for
us to see
For they play
football the Celtic
way.
One Wednesday
evening when all was
dark
My Daddy took me to
Celtic Park
To see the Bhoys in
Green and White
In a floodlit sky
such a perfect site.
(chorus)
And through my youth
the passion grew
And I was faithful
through and through
Through good and bad
times I watched my
team
I've played my part
in the Celtic dream.
(chorus)
And now I've
children of my own
In the Celtic way oh
they have grown
I'm filled with
pride when I see
them dressed
With a Four Leaf
Clover on their
chest
(chorus)
GAZZA
Bairds Bar called
when they got the
word
they said "I suppose
you've heard"
about Gazza.
Well I went to the
telly and I stuck up
the text
I said to myself
well what the hell
next
the huns have gone
and signed
a Geordie prick.
Oh I don't know why
he's signing or what
he's going to do
I guess he's trying
to put
Mikhailitchenko on
the bru
cause for 24 years
we've been laughing
like hell at Gazza.
(Gazza...who the
f**k is Gazza)
24 years waiting for
a treat
to slag him from the
Gallowgate when the
he begins to greet
yeah for 24 years
we've been laughing
like hell at Gazza.
(Gazza...who the
f**k is Gazza)
We grew up together
Gazza and Jim
he was an arsehole I
was a TIM
me and Gazza
Now I know he's fat
and he weighs a
tonne
but I never thought
he'd become a hun
fat boy Gazza.
Oh I don't know why
he's signing or what
he's going to do
I guess he's trying
to put
Mikhailitchenko on
the bru
cause for 24 years
we've been laughing
like hell at Gazza.
(Gazza...who the
f**k is Gazza)
24 years waiting for
a treat
to slag him from the
Gallowgate when the
poof begins to greet
yeah for 24 years
we've been laughing
like hell at Gazza.
(Gazza...who the
f**k is Gazza)
GOD BLESS THE
GALLOWGATE (2014)
Coming Soon!
HEY DICK
Hey Dick you look so
sad
with your hairpiece
and your black
crombie
you fit in with most
of all of the bears
ugly and fat you
looked like a
zombie.
Big Eck you were so
sad
you'd a bad team and
we were better
remember the name's
of Martin O'Neill
Larsson and Lennon,
you just can't get
better
Any time you want
some pain
Rangers just say,
we'll mention a
manager called
Paul Le Guen!
Don't you know he
was a fool
who went mental
spent all of your
money from
David Murray!
Na Na Naa Naa Na Na
Naa!
Celtic, the
champions!
you have made your
supporters happy
so come on all you
Bhoys and Ghirls
let's celebrate and
let's have a party.
Naa Naa Naa na na na
Celtic...
you know the rest...
INTER MILAN
We all set out from
Glasgow town, from
London and from
County Down
Cork, New York and
Dublin from Boston
and Chicago
We all got on the
aeroplanes and all
Italia's greatest
names
Landed up in
Portugal to take on
Glasgow Celtic
Everything was going
to plan, when
Glasgow Celtic beat
Inter Milan.
It being on the 25th
of May, the kids all
had a holiday
The sun was shining
down and all the
windows they were
open
Some listened on the
radio some watched
the famous TV show
Everyone was praying
we'd be champions of
Europe
We sang throughout
the land, when
Glasgow Celtic beat
Inter Milan.
Celtic went out to
attack, but soon got
caught out at the
back
Up stepped big
Mazzola to slot away
a penalty
Celtic rallied to
the call but Sarti
coped well with the
ball
And Inter were so
fortunate to be one
up at half time
They said catch us
if you can when
Glasgow Celtic beat
Inter Milan.
The second half got
under way, the Celts
put on a great
display
Of attacking
football that made
Inter run for cover
Gemmell brought us
level and the cup
was surely settled
When a shot from
Bobby Murdoch was
deflected in by
Chalmers
Now the score line
read two wan, when
Glasgow Celtic beat
Inter Milan.
We all went out to
celebrate, the bus
came down the
Gallowgate
Then on to Celtic
Park to hail a lorry
load of heroes
The European Cup
displayed, the Celts
they gave a victory
wave
And everyone was
singing we're the
champions of Europe
And Jock Stein is
the man, when
Glasgow Celtic beat
Inter Milan.
When Glasgow Celtic
Beat Inter Milan
When Glasgow Celtic
Beat Inter Milan
Two Wan! [2-1]
IRISH CHRISTMAS WISH
My story goes way
back to the 60s
When I first went
across the Atlantic
Sea
I was on a Christmas
break with my family
It was all so very
new and strange to
me.
As we settled in our
digs downtown
Manhattan
We were sipping a
beer and chatting in
an Irish bar
Thinking about the
songs that America
Irish sing
Like Molly Malone
and Whiskey in the
Jar
I remember a man and
my dad talking
He was asking him
were his accent was
from
Then I heard him say
something never
thought I would hear
again
Now I've heard it
said so many times
you know.
(Chorus)
He said, I wish I
was home in Ireland
for Christmas
He said, I miss the
Emerald Isle my
friend you know
He said I wish I was
home in Ireland for
Christmas
Let's have a drink
to the good ole
times back home
Well it took me a
few years to go back
there
Now I think I've
settle down in the
USA
I've lived Philly
and Chicago and all
around the coast
But at Christmas
time it's these
words I always say
chorus
Now I'm sitting on a
bar stool here in
New York
Sipping a jar and
thinking about going
home
Then I meet a man
from Ireland, he's
over on a break
We get talking about
a famous Broadway
show
He said to me have
you ever been to
Ireland
Have you ever been
across the Irish Sea
He said to me have
you ever been to
Ireland
Have you ever seen
the 40 shades of
green?
I said
chorus
JOHNNY DOYLE
I've travelled round
these islands, from
shore to shining
shore
I've met so many
heroes from the team
that I adore
I followed Glasgow
Celtic, from Lisbon
to Aberdeen
But I always
remember Johnny
Doyle in the Green.
He came from Ayr
United, to join his
favourite team
To play for Glasgow
Celtic, would fulfil
his dream
Around about St.
Patrick's Day,
signed by Big Jock
Stein
He played only for
the jersey, Johnny
Doyle in the Green.
(chorus)
And Johnny Doyle
told me, not long
before he died
He said I love my
Glasgow Celtic
Because I'm just a
Celtic boy.
In Europe 1980, we
all know what Johnny
did
He capped a great
performance, against
Real Madrid
He rose with two
defenders, to win
the ball so clean
With Sabido and
Camacho, was John
Doyle in the Green.
chorus
So in your prayers
remember, a gallant
Celtic son
His young life cut
so cruelly, in 1981
The nineteenth of
October, turned a
gray and rainy day
And then I heard
John Doyle, had
sadly passed away.
KEVIN McDAID
Coming Soon!
LORD OF THE WING
He was Born in
Viewpark 1944
The Celts were soon
knocking upon his
door
He became the one
the fans adore
He had ever defender
on the floor
and he loved the
Celtic with all his
heart and soul
He came from School
with his flame red
hair
A Celt through and
through with out a
care
When he was on the
ball the fans would
stare
At his skill and
cheek and his
natural flare
and he loved the
Celtic with all his
heart and soul
(Chorus)
I would sing, wee
Jimmy Johnstone on
the wing
Jimmy Jimmy
Johnstone on the
ball, in our hearts
he was best of all
I would sing, wee
Jimmy Johnstone lord
of the wing
Jimmy Jimmy
Johnstone we'll not
forget, hey Jimmy
will we see your
likes again.
His first game was
March 1963
When he played his
first game for his
favourite team
He was proud to wear
the hoops of green
He was the greatest
Celt there's ever
been
and he love the
Celtic with all my
heart and soul
chorus
He drove Jock mad
with banter and
crack,
He never would
defend always attack
He would beat his
man he had the knack
Bravery was an
actual fact
and he I love the
Celtic with all my
heart and soul
chorus
RAISED ON CELTIC
(chorus) I was
raised on Celtic,
their history and
their pride
With my culture and
my faith, I wear the
green & white.
I have travelled the
path where
generations walked
And read of legends
who played at Celtic
park
I have tasted
victory with this
famous club
And drowned my
sorrows in many an
Irish pub
And I walk with
pride down
Parkhead's way
And with my Fathers
ghost I sit and
watch the Celtic
play
I am such a lucky
man today to be
brought up in this
world the Celtic way
chorus
Now you’ve
heard about the four
leaf clover
The one that’s
on the Celtic crest
Cause it means so
much to a Celtic fan
every time you pull
it over your head
The first leaf is
for brother Walfrid
The guardian of
Celtic men
He fed the poor of
Irish stock in
Glasgow's old east
end
chorus
The second leaf is
for big Jock Stein
He took the Glasgow
Celtic up
To face the mighty
of Europe
And we won the
European cup
The third leaf is
for the Celtic fans
With the passion in
our eyes
Cause we've grown up
with all the
memories underneath
a Celtic sky
chorus
The forth leaf is
for our children
And memories that we
will pass on
With our music and
stories we will
carry on the Celtic
bond
Then they can tell
their children
All the things that
they have learned
Cause just like us
they're the lucky
ones to be brought
up a Celtic fan
chorus
SEVILLE
Was in the month of
May 2003, when the
Boys in green were
on their way to
Spain
Mums and Dads boys
and girls, Granddads
Grannies buckets
spades, beach balls
lilo's all came out
to play
(Chorus)
We all had a party
Seville - olé, with
the Glasgow Celtic
green and white
brigade
We all had a party
Seville - olé, we
were singing Glasgow
Celtic all the way
Eighty thousand
Celtic fans banners
hats and beer cans,
singing laughing
dancing every day
Sleeping rough on
the beach sharing
flats with smelly
feet, banners draped
from every balcony
chorus
In the park on
Tuesday night one
100 degrees it was
alright, Charlie &
the Bhoys we rocked
the town
With fifteen
thousand revellers
clapping hands
stamping feet, they
never let the mad
heat get us down
chorus
Up the road the next
day the music
carried on in Spain,
such a sight Seville
has never seen
Come on the Hoops
was the cry and o'
boy did we comply,
we turned that town
into a sea of green
chorus
They were watching
Easterners and we
were on a bender,
we're still spending
Euros and they're no
I only wish the
score was right most
of us we cried that
night, but the
Glasgow Celtic still
put on a show
chorus
THE GLASGOW IRISH
I was born in
Glasgow and was
raised the Irish way
and I sure know
wrong from right
but there is one
thing I can never
understand
what's wrong with
living here and
loving Ireland?
Chorus
I'll sing this song
for Ireland
cause I'm a Glasgow
Irishman
I'd love to see old
Ireland free, I know
one day it's gonna
be
so I sing for
Ireland.
I first went to
Ireland in the year
of 65'
it was a green and
pleasant land
I thought about my
Grandad, in the bad
good old days
and how he struggled
just to work and get
some pay. So...
Chorus (twice)
The day will come
when Ireland free
and peace returns
again
and it's not so long
away
You'll know the
choice you made was
definitely right
when you can go
out... come safely
home at night.
Chorus
THE SPIRIT OF CELTIC
We are Scottish, we
love Glasgow Celtic
we follow our team,
everywhere they go
we are part of, the
famous Celtic family
and we know, there's
gonna to be a show.
We are Irish, we

Celtic, the greatest

Celtic, and our Four
Leaf Clover
we will fly the flag
for you
and it's a joy to
follow you.
We are Scottish, we
love Glasgow Celtic
we follow our team,
everywhere they go
we are part of, the
famous Celtic family
and we know, there's
gonna to be a show.
Celtic, the greatest

TOMMY BURNS
Celtic park stands
quiet
As the flags fly in
the spring time
breeze
And the spirits of
Brother Walfrid
Embraces the
faithful tears
The news was out
that Tommy Burns
Had passed away in
the early hours
And the shrine it
builds and builds
outside
The doors of Celtic
Park
He was a man, a
family man, a Calton
man, a Celtic fan
He was adored, by
everyone, from the
wealthy clan, to the
working man
He kept his faith in
the Lord above, but
his brave fight it
was at an end
Well Tommy don't
despair, wee Jinky
waits for you...up
there
His prayers they got
answered
When as a boy he got
his chance
To play for Glasgow
Celtic
And to fill his
dreams and his
romance
Now in the sky over
Paradise
There is a bright
and shining star
For a Calton Bhoy
called Tommy Burns
He lived forever in
our hearts
He was a man, a
family man, a Calton
man, a Celtic fan
He was adored, by
everyone, from the
wealthy clan, to the
working man
He kept his faith in
the Lord above, but
his brave fight it
was at an end
Well Tommy don't
despair, wee Jinky
waits for you...up
there
Everyone has a story
Of when they met the
Bhoy, TB
He'd be singing Mac
the Knife
Or working for some
charity
He would never pass
a Celtic fan
Without a smile or a
shake of hand
We'll remember you
in song
Our friend, Tommy
Burns
He was a man, a
family man, a Calton
man, a Celtic fan
He was adored, by
everyone, from the
wealthy clan, to the
working man
He kept his faith in
the Lord above, but
his brave fight it
was at an end
Well Tommy don't
despair, wee Jinky
waits for you...up
there
He was a man, a
family man, a Calton
man, a Celtic fan
He was adored, by
everyone, from the
wealthy clan, to the
working man
He kept his faith in
the Lord above, but
his brave fight it
was at an end
Well Tommy don't
despair, wee Jinky
waits for you...up
there
I say Tommy don't
despair, wee Jinky
waits for you...up
there
WEE JAY CELTIC
BHOY (new 2015
charity single)
Coming Soon!
WILLIE MALEY*
Willie Maley was his
name
he brought some
great names to the
game
when he was the boss
at Celtic Park
he taught them how
to play football
he made the greatest
of them all
Gallacher and Quinn
have left their
mark.
(chorus)
And they gave us
James McGrory and
Paul McStay
they gave us
Johnstone, Tully,
Murdoch, Auld and
Hay
and most of the
football greats
have past through
Parkheads gates
for to play football
the Glasgow Celtic
way.
In 38 there was a
show Glasgow was the
place to go
a model of the tower
was footballs prize
England sent 4 of
the best
they didn't meet
with much success
cause the trophy
ended up in
paradise.
chorus
Coronation time was
here 53 that was the
year
another 4 from
England met there
doom
they said we'll have
to try again
but like before it
was in vain
because the cup is
in the Parkhead
trophy room.
chorus
And then in 1957 we
faced a guy called
Gorgie Nevin
the game is etched
on every Celtic fan
Wilson, Mochan and
Mc Phail
and Willie Fernie
scored as well
as Celtic beat the
Rangers 7-1.
chorus
So 10 years they had
gone and so
to Portugal we had
to go, to play the
team that Italy
adore
Celtic went out to
attack
they won the big cup
and they brought it
back
it's the first time
it had been on
British shores.
chorus
And now a new
Millennium we have a
brand new stadium
We're amongst the
honours once again
The Celtic fans did
proudly sing
Larsson is the King
of Kings
and he joins the
list of famous
Celtic men!
chorus
